Hi, i am traveling to prague in December from Paris and still havent booked my tickets-unfortunatley the prices have gone up quite alot and I am out of my budget now if I use czech airlines or airfrance how ever I found a cheap flight with Smart wings. Has any one ever flown with them before to give me a little insight (i know u have to go to Orly to get the plane and return to there) We have a connection on the way back at CDG at 14.30 and the smart wings flight is due to arrive from Prague is at 8 in the morning-is this enough time to get to CDG or is worth paying the extra and flying with air france to avoid the traffic and nuisance? Also still havent decided on where to stay. It is between Residence Verona, Eurostar thalia and The Davinci Hotel. Can anyone please help me please-I am stcuk. Thanyou.

6.5 hours should easily be enough time to transfer from, Orly to charles de gaule - once you connect on the Orlyval train to the RER, you can go striaght through to Charles de Gaule - journey takes no longer than 2 hours.
But a word of warning - a number of people have commented on Smartwings being late or cancelling flights at the last minute. I would personally pay more and fly with Czech airlines or Air France to Charles de gaule directly - the connection will be much easier and you should have more peace of mind.
For hotels, look at the reviews for the three hotels on the reviews section of this site. Residence verona and Eurostars thalia are both walking distance from the old town, Da Vinci is further out. Eurostars Thalia has the slightly better reviews from people who have stayed, but if you have a room on the front, you may be disturbed by the trams going by on the street all through the night
