Any good reasonably priced restaurants near Hotel Josef

Can anyone please advise on good restaurants near Hotel Josef.

We like, Tex Mex, pizza (Italian) , spanish, fish (not too fishy) steak or chinese type food.

Going on Wednesday-Saturday so any tips would be appreaciated.

A few restaurants have been recommended to us by others (although not necessarily near the hotel)

Cowboys Steak and Cocktails restaurant

Buffalo Biils

Laryfary

Would these be good restaurants to try.

all the above are good. Lary Fary is around the corner from the josef. Cowboys is up by the castle and Buffalo bills is on Vodickova, the other side of Wecneslas Square about 15 minutes walk away.

Pizzeria Colesseum on Ovocny trh and the Ambiente pizza restaurant next to Kotva on Namesti republiky, both 5 minutes walk from the Josef are good for pizzas. Lary fary does good steaks, as does Moules, the belgian pub on Brehova and El-Gauco argentinian steak restaurant on Wecneslas square. There is a good new spannish tapas restaurant on Hybernska, just past the K%26amp;K hotel

We stayed at the Joseph a few years ago and found a very homely welcoming little Italian restaurant just a few yards away (opp direction to town square).

Not sure of its name, but it was dirt cheap and only had a few tables.

When we visited Prague last year, it was still there.

By the way, take a clear street map if you are staying at The Joseph as we continuosly got lost trying to find our way back to The Hotel.

Lots of similarly named/looking streets in that area.

Breakfasts at The Joseph were the best I%26#39;ve had anywhere by the way.

But found the standard room very small and it only had a shower, no bath.

If this matters to you, try to upgrade to a Superior room before you travel.
