Best pubs/nightclubs for foreigners

Hello. My friend has asked me to inquire here about this topic. She, like myself, is into pubbing, clubbing, dancing and mingling. She and her fiancee%26#39; are from the Americas (Caribbean islands) and want to know where to go. R%26amp;B music is the preferred choice. I haven%26#39;t been to Praha in a little while. Will be there this spring but thought I might ask for the insight of some who have been there recently or live there now and have been out dancing/clubbing recently. Thanks a lot!!!! : )

Radost nightclub out at IP Pavlova sometimes has R%26amp;B evenings and the Ungelt jazz club in mala strana often serves up what can be described as bluesy jazz

Many tourists at karlovy lazne and lavka nightclubs next to the charles bridge. For bars, head towards dlouha street where nearby you will find lots of good bars - tretters, chateau, ocean drive, bombay cocktail bar to name a few. La Bodeguita del Medio on Kaprova street opposite starometska metro station is a happening tapas / cocktail bar

Thanks, peb. I hear alot about Karlovy Lazny, Radost and Lavka. Anyone else have opinions to add on those and others?

Mecca is not down town and not so full of tourists, a small club compared to Lavka and K.Lazne. Radost is also not exactly downtown, but a really good club with restaurant and bar.

Check out the program of Lucerna Bar under musicbar.iquest.cz/wwwroot/index.php… it is in Czech, but you will understand the basics. It is in an old building complect on two floors, very run down, but how cool.

Jo%26#39;s bar used to be the famous American hang out, but that%26#39;s history with all the new places/ bar, that are much better, as Peb says around Dlouha street.

many locals think that misch masch is the hottest club in town. Certainly by the crowds that stream out at 6am in the morning when I am on my way to the airport, it is popular, but it is out of town
