Sights and Shopping - mid/end November

Any special attractions in Prague between 18th and 21st November... visiting the city with my wife...

pick up a copy of the prague post if you want to see what is on when you arrive - they sell this at most newsstands

city will be very quiet that weekend - friday 17th is a public holiday and if the weather is good, the locals will all disappear to the countryside

Thanks for that - they have a website I see as well.

My favourite time of year to visit Prague. Not sure if the Christmas stalls will be up yet but Prague is such a welcoming, charming city this time of the year (well, anytime is good in Prague). Just take a stroll around this amazing city and look at the buildings and the architecture, its just beautiful. Have fun!

christmas market in the old town sqaure doesn%26#39;t start till December, but the market at namesti miru 2 metro stops from the centre starts on 20 November

PEB7: Hi Peb, We%26#39;re also in Prague on the 17th Nov. As it%26#39;s a public holiday, will there be a limit to the restaurants or attractions which will be open?

most places will still be open on Friday 17th. If the weather is good, the city will be quieter as many locals will go off to the countryside

Thanks for that Peb. Don%26#39;t mind it being a bit quieter, that%26#39;s a bonus. Hope you are keeping well!

going to venice for that weekend. there is now a direct overnight prague to venice train

Peb, how much does that train cost?

Have a fab time Peb. Never been to Venice but perhaps that%26#39;s one for the %26quot;to do%26quot; list. - depending on the journey time. Hope you have a good time, in what looks like a wonderful place.
