Blue River Palace Apartments

Hi,

I am thinking of staying at these apartments when I am in Prague for 3 days for 50 Euro a night. I will be travelling alone.

According to their website they are close to Andel centre a new shopping centre.

I have come to Prague before and therefore have seen some of the central sights. Therefore do not mind staying a bit further out if near good public transport and reasonably priced.

I also prefer to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel.

Was wondering if

1) Anybody has stayed in this apartment complex which is apparently new

Searched the forum and reviews on this site but did not find any reviews.

2) Is the area safe and easy to travel to the centre? I.e according to map is it near the metro stop?

Any help and assistance is greatly appreciated.

If they are new, they may well worth to book. The apartments are indeed about 5 minutes walk from Andel metro and tram station for good connections to the old town and castle area. At Andels, there is a large shopping centre with a big Tesco supermarket.

I have not stayed in these apartments,but have stayed nearby.I found the area to be ok and perfectly safe.the transport links into the city are excellent from Andel as there is the underground and a whole host of trams from there.It is also a couple of tram stops to the Smicov train station.It is possible to walk into the city from there and it is not an upleasant one if you follow the bank of the river.

The Staroprammen brewery is close by and it is worth visiting the resturant there.
