Golden Gate Hotel or Radisson SAS???

I am trying to decide which of these hotels to go with. I am procrastinating as my parents are coming with me and I dont want them to have to be walking around a lot. Although Golden Gate Hotel is slightly further from the centre I am thinking that its worth the distance as it looks stunning.......... Plus the Raddison is considerable more expensive. Any advice????

I sayed at Andels Design Suites last time I visted which was sooooo nice, and great for seeing other areas of prague that you wouldnt usually find with centre hotels, but too far out for the older generation to walk.

Thanks

golden gate hotel isn%26#39;t really much further from the centre (15 minutes walk) than the radisson (radisson is off wenceslas square, but wenceslas square is not the centre and is full of tat). golden gates is also near the karlovo namesti tram stop which can take you directly to the castle. I would go for the golden gates, but ask for a room at the back or on a high floor as the road outside is a busy one.

As you are in the new town, visit the new town hall almost next door and go to the top of the tower for a good view

Maybe we should mention that Karlovo Namesti is the prostitute haunt after dark, that the Golden Gate is right next to the Ariadne (or Arianna, I can%26#39;t remember) strip club and that Zitna (in which the Golden Gate is located) now has at least 4 s-x shops at the higher end. Nice hotel though. For me it%26#39;s the Radisson. Why don%26#39;t you see if the Hotel Yasmin has room if you liked Andels Design.

SAS is without question one of the best hotels in Prague. You will like it. Ask for one of the Royal rooms.
