Dinner on the river

I am going to Prague with my three friends (ladies ) from 22 to 26th November. There are two or three things I would like advice on.

I have seen a trip where you cruise down the river and have a meal on the boat and entertainment , in the evening will this be o.k in November also there is day trip to Carlsbad ( I have been there in the summer and it was really beautiful but is it worth a visit in the winter ?As it will be dark early 5ish I think , what would you recommend we could do before going for our evening meal e.g will the shops still be open then. Perhaps we will be so tired we will just crash-out for a couple of hours !!

Hmm, there are far better things to do than a dinner cruise - it is not as interesting as it sounds and the food is not great. Once you%26#39;re on the ship, you can%26#39;t escape until its over.

I would go to fun restaurants like Pravda, Barock, Kogo. Check out Bar and Books after the meal, it%26#39;s a nice bar.

Karlovy Vary is always beautiful to me.

You will do a lot of walking in Prague if you want to discover it, so I think you will be happy if you can rest before the evening starts...

What Martina said.

My wife and I went on a river cruise in Prague for our honrymoon 2 years ago and it was THE most disapointing part of our trip.

Horrible food, really... horrible. Totally not worth the money or time.

asiana travel run luxury coaches every hour from florence bus station to karlovy vary. Far cheaper than an organised tour.

I agree with Martina - karlovy vary is always beautiful
