help needed

Hi - myself and my girlfriend normally go to Prague each year for Xmas. This year I have forgot to book flights and they are now really expensive!!

I need either an alternative location or suggestions on how to get cheap flights for 22-29 december to Prague from Luton or Midlands area.

We would actually like to go somewhere different than Prague but similar (if that makes sense)

i.e a city, great to walk around , great food and beer at really cheap prices, the missus would like snow too!!!

any suggestions greatly welcomed

for flights from the midlands and north of london, bmi fly from birmingham and east midlands. Easyjet fly from east midlands and stansted. Thomsonfly.com fly from luton and doncaster. czech airlines fly from stansted

Alternatives to prague are to fly to bratislava and catch the train from bratislava to prague (takes 4 hours). Easyjet fly from luton. SkyEurope and Ryanair fly from Stansted

If you want alternatives to prague, try ljubljana or one of the Baltic capitals, but 7 days in winter is a bit of a long time to spend in these

Thanks for the info

We like to potter about from place to place - church to church - bar to bar but cheap as poss!! Which is why like Prague, is Bratislave anything like Prague?

I%26#39;ve been told Budapest is similar but flights are also expensive there too at this time of year.

Bratislava is like a small Prague. You could easily spend a couple of days there. I am not a fan of Budapest
