I hope to travel to the HIlton around Easter. Has anyone been to the Hilton lately.? Is the renovations causing much hassle.? How central is this Hotel to main attractions?

there are 20 mainly good reviews of the hilton from September and October on the reviews section of this site.
Hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the centre, but you can catch a metro, bus or tram from down the street if the walk is too much
