I am a quilter and a knitter and would like to purchase material and yarn from Czech. to bring home to make some memeorable projects. I will be in Prague and would like some suggestions of stores to visit. that would include these items. Are there any museums that showcase the handicrafts of the area?

there isn%26#39;t too much about and what will be sold will be more expensive than in the US. Kotva department store on namesti republiky may be your best bet in the centre, although there are couple of speciality stores in shopping malls on the edge of the city

There is a shop on Opletalova (off Wenceslas Square) that sells this kind of stuff. Don%26#39;t know name or number, it is on the first corner on the right.
