Good Bars or Restaurants

Was just curious if anyone had any advice on Restaurants(authentic czech) and bars (authentic) that are cool in Prague, for a group of three in their twenties. None of us are into clubs, but a good place to see some locals, or just a cool bar.

kolkovna on v kolkovne street is an authentic czech restaurant. For good Czech pubs, try U vejvodu or u zlateho tygra both on Jilska street south of the old town square, or a couple of minutes further on Na perstyne street, u medvicku. You can eat at all the pubs mentioned

Best real pub i have ever been in has to be the U Cervelho Vola (think thats how its spelt). Went for a quick drink and stayed for 10! Real people, proper prices. I have heard that their profits go to a local blind school but how true this is i don%26#39;t know. Try the Niva Toast.....awesome.

U vejvodu has lovely food, but a word of warning, our waiter wanted £25 in tips from us and ended in a bit of a %26quot;discussion%26quot; before we offered him £5 or nothing as we had originally left.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

The pub is named U cervenho vola (the black bull). It.s located in the castle complex in a street called Loretanska. When thinking about the location I must say the pub is very nice. Try the toast called tapinka ? or topinka with their dark velkopovichi beer.

Beneath the castle you%26#39;ll find a pub called U Hrocha (The Hippo) in a street called Thunovska. This place is also a gem.
