Best hotel in Prague

Which is the best modern luxury hotel in Prague in terms of:

1. Comfort n decor?

2. Location - should be centrally located.

3. Service

4. Price

Also pls comment on:

Hilton vs. Marriott vs. Ranaissance. I believe the Hilton has some rennovations going on which end until 2008.

A Hilton is a Hilton, a Marriott a Marriott and a Renaissance a Renaissance, nothing special. The Hilton is huge and not really central.

Centrally locatered and interesting decor has Maximilian; alos Josef, but quite pricey. Ventana is new and on the Olt Town Square. Also Grand Hotel Praha.

Other central location is Mala Strana - it is quieter and less crowded. There my favourite is the Aria, but it costs.

josef is the best all round in terms of price, position, quality, service etc

I can recommend the Josef. Nice hotel, very comfy beds, fab location. Better to get a superior room though as believe standard rooms are quite small.

Staff excellent but some guests are a bit aloof.

Consider Andel%26#39;s. It may not be contrally located but for all the other categories it must come top. It is the fifth best in Prague according to the reviews and it just keeps getting better and better responses!

The Aria also does a New Years party, with a cocktail on the roof overlooking the entire city at midnight. Best place to be for the fire works.

I%26#39;d say the Grand Hotel Praha on Old Town Square. Understated elegance and top notch service.

The KK Central in Prague is clean and modern, centrally located and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffets are wonderful - two years ago when we were there they had smoked salmon, champagne, etc.
