staying at hotel Belverdere (2-3 miles from sq) dec 6 -8th. just wanted to now how much a Taxi will cost from airport stayed there 2 years ago but can,t remeber. tar Richard

there is a taxi firm called cedaz outside the main building at the airport that charge fixed rates of 480czk for 2-4 passengers or 960czk for 5-8 passengers in their mini vans to any address in central prague. Good value.

480 crown cedaz rate is to hotels in the centre. Even though the belvedere is about on the way to the centre, it isn%26#39;t in the centre and you may end up paying 960 crowns to do there (that is the cedaz rate for hotels not in the centre). Taxi outside the airport (AAA yellow taxis or Fix grey taxis) shouldn%26#39;t cost you more than 500 crowns.
But a 3 day public transport ticket from the prague transport authority offices in the arrivals hall at the airport (on the right across the foyer once you have cleared customs) to save the hassle of trying to find tram tickets once you have got to the hotel

Was in Prague last week and checked taxi prices to/from airport - Cheapest was AAA (yellow chequer cars) 450czk single or 800 return.
