hotel marketa and airport!

Hi folks,

we are going to the hotel marketa on 5th of december,wondered if anybody could tell us how to get their from prague airport.we would prefer to take public transport as long as it wasnt too difficult. Is this a good area to stay in! we will be staying for 4 nights.I think this hotel is in area 6,not far from the castle.

good budget hotel is what the reviews on this site under %26quot;prague hotels%26quot; seem to say; i.e. if you come with low expectations, you won%26#39;t be disappointed. Hotel is behind he castle, about 20 minutes walk away. You will need a tram to get you to the old town and the tramstop is about 10 minutes walk away (plus the time it takes to cross a busy road).

By public transport you can take the 119 bus to dejvicka metro and then the number 2 tram and then it is a steep uphill 10 minute walk. Personally, I would take a taxi, or stay somewhere else
