Hotesl in quiet area

I am looking for a hotel in a quiet area of Prague, away from busy roads and away from the stag hen party scene but with reasonable access to the centre either walking, bus or tram. Medium price around 100 euros or slightly more. We are visiting next May and it is the first time in teh city. Any advice on hotels appreciated.

This place is a gem: quiet with no traffic and no stag parties around, good location (3 minuts walking from the charles bridge)and nice service. Take a look :

We stayed at the Hotel Julian which is just south of the Mala strana area on the castle side of the river. It is on a side street that is around the corner from the tram stop. You are within a 15 minute walk of the Charles Bridge and a short tram ride to the castle or the Old Town area across the river. We found the hotel to be very clean with a delicious breakfast. I believe it was around 129 euros per night. No hen or stag parties anywhere to be seen here.

Hi mintey,I can also recommend Hotel Julian, stayed there twice last year.Pleasant 15-20 min walk through Kampa to Charles Brigde. The hotel does not allow all male groups, check out all the reviews on the hotels section on this web site.

Maximilian is sister hote to the Julian but a bit cheaper. Less 5 than 5 mins from Old Town Square.

Mala Strana is the place you are looking for. Very quiet in the evening and nights. A lot of interessting hotels in the small narrow streets. Close to Hradcany and the Charles bridge/Old town.
