Any stores in Prague that sell the lacquer boxes? At some site I read that Russian dolls and souvenirs were sold, but no mention of the boxes. Just curious. I%26#39;m visiting Prague in early December, and would like to add any possible shop to my list of things to do/see. Thanks for any input.

I saw some at Prazska Trznice, the market in Holesovice, 3 years ago.. worth a try.

wonder down celetna or karlova streets running off the old town square and you will see many shops selling lacquer boxes - but most of them are not made in russia

Lacquer boxes... I don%26#39;t know about in Prague, but you can get them online in some places - http://www.dreamofrussia.com is a good site, although they seem to have sold out of most of their boxes; they had some beautiful ones a few weeks ago. Have a nice trip!
