Taxi/transport to hotel from airport

Im staying at Andel%26#39;s hotel 17 Dec- 22 Dec arriving at 5.55pm

Me and my boyfriend don%26#39;t really want to faff about with getting public transport with all our luggage so were thinking of getting a taxi or something. Any rough ideas of cheap taxi%26#39;s to Andels? Were looking to pay 500 max.

Also, if we do get public transport will the buses/trams be running regulary what with it being a Sunday the day we arrive?

Any help would be much appreciated.

taxi to Andels from the airport will probably be about 600 crowns - 2 pounds more than your budget - will this really kill you? The yellow AAA taxis are slightly cheaper than the grey Fix taxis. the taxi will go down what appears to be a country road on the side of a hill - don%26#39;t think the guy is going to bump you off - this is the most direct route.

you can go public transport by taking the 100 bus to zlicin and then the direct metro to Andels and then the hotel is less than 10 minutes walk. mtero operates at sunday schedules (10 minute intervals), meaning as Zlicin metro is next to a huge shopping centre, the metro will be packed full - not the place for tourists with luggage.

Hi

I think Manchester has a really good public transport system but compared to Prague it is rubbish. Using the bus and underground will cost you about 50p each and will take you to your hotel, the cost of a taxi is about £16 minimum.

You catch the 100 bus right outside ther terminal to Zlicin, and then the metro to Andel. Zlicin is the last stop on the bus route and there is only one metro there so you can%26#39;t go wrong.

We%26#39;ve stayed on bank holidays and Sundays and I%26#39;ve never noticed any reduction in public transport.

If you buy a ticket for the whole length of your stay you can use it to get back to the airport too, we usually stay 4 nights and buy a weekly ticket for about £6. You can get the tickets at the airport, when you go through to arrivals facing the doors to outside look diagonally to your right and there is the ticket office.

Just in case you need cash, looking diagonally to your left are the ATM%26#39;s.

Enjoy Prague
