Cheap bars & restaurants near Arcadia Residence??

Having watched the Arcadia Residence go up in the ratings I booked a few months ago and my family and I are going on Wednesday for a few nights.

As my 18 month old son will be coming with us we%26#39;ll not be wanting to go far on a night.

Can anyone recommend any reasonably cheap restaurants and bars within walking distance??

Many thanks,

Foxy.

About a 10 minute walk from the hotel is the restaurant %26quot;Pravek%26quot; (pronounced pra-vee-eck) it means prehistoric and the interior decoration will keep the kids attention for sure. Great Czech food. Pasquale will give you exact directions. Only drawback is that it%26#39;s a basement place and you have to carry the pram downstairs.

Lots more options if you walk to the riverfront and use the tram (child is free). 3 stops in the direction of Modrany is %26quot;Soho+%26quot; and towards the town 2 stops (just after the Dancing house) and you are directly opposite %26quot;Don Pedro%26#39;s%26quot; Colombian restaurant (I know the chef). Both good.

Many thanks Sova.

I%26#39;ve posted a similar entry on www.moneysavingexpert.com and someone has kindly replied mentioning a market to the north of the town with the majority of sellers being chinese selling counterfeit goods, etc.

Have you knowledge of this market, ie. where is it and what days is it open?

Thanks again,

Foxy.

This would almost certainly be one of the various Vietnamese markets around Prague (several closed down recently). The best place to get to is the one at Holesovice which is a big market that incorporates both Vietnamese and Czech market stalls and shops.

holesovice market is not worth going to. Don%26#39;t think you will get counterfeit louis vuitton, rolex etc. they sell counterfeit adidas, reebok and the like

Peb, thanks for your reply.

Any suggestions then as to the best market in Prague for these products??
