Karlovy Vary (Spa Vacation)

I was looking at maybe taking a day trip to Karlovy Vary, since I was looking forward to a SPA vacation while I’m in Prague.

So I need some help, if you know anything about this place.

- Is it worth going to Karlovy Vary for the spa treatment?

- How to get from Prague to Karlovy Vary and how much and what service (Bus/Train/Travel agency)?

- What are the prices on the spa treatment or Spa houses you recommend?

- What else is there to do there?

- If we don’t go to Karlovy Vary, can you recommend any spa places in Prague where we can relax?

- How is SABAI Spa in Prague?

Most of the spa hotels keep their spa facilities for hotel guests only. One which doesn%26#39;t is the Savoy Westend up the hill above the town, or when you can go to the luxurious zamecke lazne day spa, right in the centre. Cost is not cheap, about $150 for the day. You need to book in advance.

Sabia spa doesn%26#39;t compare. The thai massages are good, but they don%26#39;t have mineral water and is really a wellness centre rather than a spa

Asiana travel run luxury buses from Prague florenc bus station which takes about 2.5 hours. Karlovy vary is well worth going to, lovely spa town, mountain air you can bottle, hot mineral water to drink and lots of good walking possibilities in the forests.

and by the way, in the new Bond film, Karlovy vary is Montenegro and the Grand Hotel Pupp is the Casino Royale
