I will be visiting Prague with one of my friend for new year however I do not have any idea about the pubs.
Can anyone let us know any good pubs ? Do we need to get tickets to get in the places or any other idea for the new year ?

many pubs have their tabkes booked in advance and can get quite rowdy as the midnight comes, as do restaurants. Best thing to do is watch the fireworks by the river from somewhere reasonably safe, and unless you want to pay large sums for a new years eve restaurant, eat your main meal at lunchtime
