Places to eat

After reading the many great reviews on the Grand Hotel Praha, we have booked a 3 night break for next year for our first visit to Prague.

Would be grateful if someone could recommend some good eating places - we want to %26quot;push the boat out%26quot; on the last night and eat somewhere really special - having read the reviews it seems people seem to recommend the %26quot;Kampa Park%26quot;.

Just wondered if anyone else had any further suggestions on that and also eating places in general for the other two nights - obviously within walking distance of the Hotel Praha.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi

Just returned from Prague and would def reccommend a place called Cowboys to eat in fantastic food and ambience at a reasonable rate.

Dont know what time of year your going but it has a gorgeous roof terrace where you can eat outdoors or in

its just over the Charles Bridge and up a hill towards the cathederal

if you google it you should find more details

good mid price restaurants within 10 minutes walk of the Grand hotel praha are cafe colonial on siroka street, Ambiente pasta fresca on celetna street, or the other Ambiente restaurant, Brasiliero on U radnice street, and lary Fary, L%26#39;Angolo and DaNico, all on dlouha street

Look at some of the threads here about Cowboys. It%26#39;s gotten mixed reviews. I pass it quite often and have looked at the menu and I think it is overpriced. Beef is expensive here in general. I don%26#39;t think I%26#39;ve had beef at all, and I%26#39;ve been here (back and forth) for over a year. Pork or Chicken are generally well done (in the sense of quality).

Cowboys is on Nerudova which is one of the primary ways to get up to the Castle and it is lined with restaurants on both sides. I%26#39;ve eaten in a few of them and my personal favorite is U Mlynář (at the Miller%26#39;s) about 1/3 of the way up from Malostranske Namesti. It%26#39;s a small restaurant set back in the atrium of the building. There%26#39;s a

Budvar%26quot; man statue out front. Traditional Czech food in a rustic atmosphere. Very reasonable prices as well.
