weather & christmas markets

Hi we are off to prague Monday the 20th

just wondering what to expect on the weather front.

also are there any markets starting this early. This is my fourth time to prague in 2 years but the first time for friends we are going with.

Iam hoping to find my way to some hidden places off the tourist trail.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I went three years ago on the first weekend in December. We were expecting it to be cold, and took our warmest clothes. But although the first day was, the second and third were very warm and drizzly, so I suppose you should be prepared for both!

christmas market on namesti miru (2 metro stops from the centre) opens today. Beware though, it closes at 7pm every evening. About 8 degrees today feels warmer than it should do
