Cowboys Restaurant

Hi, Has anyone eaten here? Menu looks good %26amp; prices are excellent..

Restaurants are obviously a personal choice, but I ate there and will not eat there again. Service not good, too many groups and too loud and noisy (that may be waht you are looking for. You can get much better steak for less than the price that Cowboys charged. Used to be a decent restaurant called Bazaar before they remodeled and ruined it.

As I said, restaurant taste is personal and if you are staying in the castle area, it is convenient. If you are not staying in the castle area, there are much better restaurants around that you can go to. Saying that though, if you are in a group, it is ideally suited.

I thought it was very nice and quite reasonablly priced with excellent service.

Although i agree one nights experience is not always a definitive guide. However you speak as you find.

Nice steak, good atmosphere attentive service and good prices.

If you are up that neck of the woods then it is a good place to eat but there are better in th old town.

Peb 7 - as a local expert where else would you suggest to get a good steak in Prague, in a nice restaurant (but not too expensive) away from the main drinking area?

Hello ate there a couple of weeks ago and thought it was pretty good. Didnt have steak - had pork fillet for a change and it was really delicious. Cooked a liitle too pink for me but asked for it to be cooked a little longer and this was no problem. Service was fine and didnt think it was too pricey.Lots and i mean lots of steps to get up to the patio area. All in all a good evening out.

teddygirl, they do great steaks at Sahara Cafe, which is away from the crowds, an insider%26#39; tip. Upstairs a cafe, downstairs restaurant with terrace and garden. 1 Metro stop from the center on Nam. Miru.

belgian pub les moules on brehova street just north of the old town does good steaks, as does el gaucho streak restaurant on wenceslas square. Cafe colonial on siroka street between the old town square and the river don%26#39;t specialise in steaks as the other two restaurants do, but the steaks served there are good

La Bodguita Del Medio (Cuban - fun)

Ambiente on Manesova (American style casual)

Brasserie M (French -- nice but not too fancY)

Don Pedro%26#39;s (very casual, small South American place)

I have to agree with Brewsta again. My vote for steaks in Prague goes to La Bodeguita del Medio. The manager there told me they have the reputation for having the best steaks in Prague
