you need to be prepared for the cold and short days, but if it has snowed, Prague can be magical in winter. All of the attractions in Prague open in winter, but close at dusk, although you will be brave to wonder around Petrin Hill in the depths of winter

5th time in January for us next year and we love it, have been in summer too and are going in December as well this year to take in the xmas atmosphere but We love January everything is still going on but there is no hustle and bustle and no need to book restaurants, and if there is snow which there has been it is an added bonus.
