Prague Jewelers

I am going back to Prague in December. Last time i was there my wife saw a Garnet bracelet which she really liked. The bracelet had good sized garnets over it%26#39;s entire length. The only let down was that the shop we were in only sold gold on silver jewellery. I would like to purchase the same type of bracelet but in solid gold. Can anybody recommend a reputable Jewelers in Prague where i can buy a real gold/garnet bracelet at a reasonable price.

there is quite a bit of solver sourced locally, which is one of the reasons why silver is in abundance. I would approach some of the jewellery shops here with caution as to the gold content if you are splashing out; safer to buy to buy at home than think you have a bargain

Thankyou Peb7 for your advice, I might just get a gold on silver garnet bracelet, any suggestions of a shop or area for a good buy.Last time saw one in a shop in the Jewish Quarter which we were took to while on the Yellow Umbrella walking tour. Also saw what looked like the same one in a Jewellers just over Charles Bridge (Lesser Quarter side), which was cheaper but obviously I did not have a clue about the quality of either one. I don%26#39;t have a problem paying more for quality, I just dont want to get ripped off, (ie fake or inferior garnets).
