Don Giovanni - Summer 2007

Has it been announced when the tickets for Don Giovanni will be available for sale for performances in July 2007?

which theatre? tickets are generally available for the national theatre or state opera about 3 months in advance

I should have identified the National Theater. The on-line ticket office is currently selling them through March 2007 so tickets for July performances will not be available until about April 2007. Are the performances in July run more than once each week? I am trying to ensure that we are there the week there is a performance. Thanks........Buckala

national theatre is not consistent in its performances. sometimes they run the same performance two nights in a row, but more often than not, they have a different performance each night.

Are you sure that you are looking at the national theatre though and not the theatre of estates (which is the theatre where don giovanni premiered)? theatre of estates sometimes shows don giovanni almost every other night. But be aware, in the latter half of july, many of the companies take their holidays or go touring and the theatre closes. If you are keen on coming when there is don giovanni, I would wait booking until the programme is published

Peb it is the theater of estates. I just queried the ticket office to see if they have a schedule of performances of Don Giovanni for July 2007. They are currently selling tickets for a performance of Don Giuovanni on 25 June 2007.
