There are so many postings listing so many different places for lunch and dinner etc, so can someone offer me up a quick overview that I can work from. I am staying over New Year at K + K central and want to eat local to there (Old Town Square etc) on the Saturday night and somewhere for Sunday and Monday lunch. Nice atmoshere and cosy and local cuisine but not too expensive. Also some good cosy bars in the area that are not plastic, theamed, piped music, international drinking establishments! Sorted New Year out at Kampa Park Restaurant so I have started to save now!!!

Close by is Slovansky Dum with Kogo (mediterranian food), a Sushi place, Cafe Pavlina with great cake and sweets and Ambiente Brasiliano, all you can eat with or without meat, very reasonable.

down dlouha street are a number of good restaurants (danico, larry fary and L%26#39;Angolo.
Many people rave about kogo, but I have eaten there twice in the last 2 weeks and both times have needed to take the next day off work through food poisoining
