Snow in Prague

I will spend 3 days in Prague in January. Does it normally snow there at this time of the year? If not, can anyone recommend me a place nearby where I can take my 13 year-old to get to know it, I mean the snow - very rare in Brazil.

Thanks a lot

Just head north towards Teplice if and it has snowed, you%26#39;ll find it here. Otherwise, spend the day at Liberec as this is normally guaranteed snow at this time.

There should be snow right at the airport. Whilst they clear the snow on the streets in the city centre, the hills and parks of the city (for example; Petrin Hill, Letna or Stromovka park) should have plenty of enough snow on. Be careful though, when it snows on snow, it gets icy and its hard when you fall over.

I fell and broke my ankle a few years ago in that fashion. Not in Prague, though.
