Louis Vuitton

is there a LV shop in Prague - my nephew seems to think there is (not that he can afford the prices but no harm in window shopping). If there is where abouts is it.

There is one on Pariska street (I think that is how you spell it). Smart shopping street with lots of designer shops. In Jewish quarter / Old Town area.

Parizska street. Nobody in Prague shops there any more after they tried to ruin the Charles Bridge

So does this mean there is no longer an LV store there? Where is the best place to do high end shopping (for Gucci, Prada, Tods, etc.)...other than Italy of course? We will be visiting Munich, Zurich, Innsbruck, Vienna and Prague and I would like a new high end bag. Can anyone make recommendations on the best place for purchasing (taking the exchange rate into consideration)? (I am from the US). Thank you.

What is the connection between LV and the Charles Bridge?

Paris should be the best place for High end shopping !

there is a newly opened larger louis vuitton shop on parizska. Most of the people who shop there are tourists. many locals don%26#39;t go in there any more, after in the summer, when as part of their opening celebrations, louis vuitton tried to close the charles bridge for a private party for 4 days.

Beware though, the prices in the shop are higher than in louis vuitton shops in other parts of europe.

Thank you. That is useful information.

You better do your homework before leaving home knowing prices for certain models of handbags. I was in Europe last month and the dollar made it almost a wash as far as price were concerned. They do have a VAT refund so figure that into your pricing. Last year I saved about 20 percent in Italy buying highend goods like Prada, Ferragamo ..but then they were in the country of origin. I walked by a Prada shop in Prague as well...close to the Jewish area as another poster said.

P.S. Munich has good shopping...I thought the Armani store was great and prices were again about 20 percent lower than in the US. I go to Germany every year and my friends there wear a lot of Italian brands as well as lots of Burberry.
