hi, i have been told not to go to prague because of the cost of meals, beer etc, cant believe it is as dear as the uk . can anyone give me some idea the costs. thanks

Visit pragueexperience.co.uk to find the price of food from a range of restaurants - only go to bars where the price of drinks are clearly shown outside / inside to avoid getting stung. Get a price from your taxi driver if you choose to use them. Stay away from the main tourist traps if you don%26#39;t want to pay over the odds for you latte! By the way - half a litre of ice cold lager can still be bought for sixty odd pence.

where did you hear this.Prague is probably one of the cheapest places in Europe to eat and especially drink.even if you go to the most tourist orietated place you will still find prices either on par with British prices or a lot cheaper.yes there are more expensive places like any city, but in general it is cheap for brits to go there.I was there last month cheapest beer I had was about 45p dearest beer about £2 (in the airport).meals were very cheap and a good 2 course bar meal could be had for under £5.I think either you are trying to wind people up or someone is winding you up.

thanks to both of you,i thought it was not right,i was not winding up anyone, thanks for youe help

coilpit,I can really recommend a trip to Prague,I have been many times over the last 12 years or so,the food is excellent and the beer more so.lots of low cost airlines fly there and cost of accommodation very reasonable.lots to see and do all in a compact area.public transport is cheap and efficient.
