We will be in Prague with children 10 and 12 for New Years Eve 2008. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do or where to make reservations for New Years with children?
Thank you!

midnight fireworks are really spectacular, but the crowds and the unofficial fireworks let off on the streets can be a bit frightening. Watching from the castle gardens or on cechuv bridge by the intercontinental are quieter places than some of the popular spots. Because most of the restaurants have special new years eve menus (meaning expensive), you would be better to eat your main meal in the lunchtime or in mid afternoon
