City Club Hotel

Hi

booked a break here for Feb 2006 for my partners birthday. Heard its not a brilliant hotel but close to city centre. Can anyone who has stayed here recently tell me more? Can not find much on here for this hotel.

Also i understand it is easy and cheap to get a metro from the Airport. Can anyone tell me the exact route, stops etc?

Realise it will prob be really cold but looking forward to that as well.

Only there for a few days so what would be the best things to see for this time of year. Picked a couple of places out of a travel book but dont know if there is something that is really good to go to and might miss it as there seems to be loads to see.

Also is the food and beer really that cheap? What the average you would pay for a main meal in an average food place.

read the reviews of the hotel on the reviews section under %26#39;prague hotels%26#39; - there is one review from october. City club hotel is about 15 minutes walk from metro ip pavlova. to get there, take the 119 bus to metor dejvicka, the green line metro to muzeum and then change for the red line metro one stop to ip pavlova. Buy a 3 or 7 day public transport ticket at the airport to include this journey, as you will need public transport every day from the hotel to the city.

If you eat in neighbourhood restaurants, you can have a 2 course meal for 10 pounds or so with beer
