andel's hotel & suite

I%26#39;ll visit Prague next month, and I just can%26#39;t decide which hotel to select. I%26#39;ll travel with two friends.

Andel%26#39;s Hotel tells me that we can get a double room with an extra bed or get one-bedroom suite. Would anyone who stayed at Andel%26#39;s Hotel tell me if we would have enough space if we have an extra bed in the double room? If there is not much space there, we may have to get an one-bedroom apartment at Andel%26#39;s Suite (different from Andel%26#39;s Hotel).

Or would you suggest looking for an apartment at much cheaper rate?

I would expect the suite to be bigger than a double room

For ease of sightseeing, and to keep costs down to allow more money to be spent in bars and restauarants I always book an apartment in the Mala Strana area beneath the castle as opposed to paying for a hotel. Aprtments on the whole tend to be about 30-40% cheaper.

The Mala Strana area below the castle is very picturesque and old world, quiet at night and less busy than Wenceslas Sq area, but still only 10 mins away from the Charles Bridge and is in my opinion a more prettier area than down at Andel%26#39;s. Although the hotel itself is very modern and clean.

The only thing to bear in mind with the Mala Strana area is that it can be an uphill walk home after a night out the closer you stay to the castle.

uphill walks are a very good way of sobering out
