how cold is prague in january?

I would like to know what weather should I expect for the first days of January in Prague. I know that is cold but how cold? What should I wear?

It can be well below zero. Layers are better than thick things, as on the streets it is cold, but the inside of builidngs (shops, restaurants, etc) are hot. You need a hat, gloves and good sturdy boots, as the streets can be slippery when in winter. don%26#39;t bring your best things if it has snowed, as the streets are mucky. Better to be warm than look good
