The 3 day pass is 220Kc. If you are flying in, there is a Prague Transport booth in the entrance hallway as you come out of baggage claim. They are also sold at all metro stations and at many tobacco (Tabak) shops around the city.

only sold at all metro stations where there is a ticket office. Many metro stations do not have ticket offices, only the orange ticket machines. 3 day passes are not sold from ticket machines. As csaconsult says, you are best to buy one at the airport - at least the people in the ticket office speak english there

Thanks, since I am in Prague 4 days I was planning to buy the pass for the 2nd to 4th days and using a transfer from the airport, in the evening hence I will not do any travel on the first night. Is a 7 day pass much more expensive and the airport office seems a good idea, Regards

3 day pass is 220 crowns. 7 day pass is 280 crowns - the difference is one pound fifty. You may as well buy a 7 day pass and have the flexibility to use it all days

Peb,

Jimkav is from Glasgow. That one pound fifty could buy a half pint of beer.

Think I will go for the 7 day pass. I would rather pay the 1.5 pound at the airport and save myself 30 mins buying a pass the next day. Thats 30 mins extra sight seeing time !

Thanks
