We are going to Praha in February for a 5-night stay. Can anyone recommend a nice, centrally located hotel that has soft beds? Not the kind that are soft because they are worn out, just good quality, comfortable beds with the kind of padded top-mattress that is common in northern Europe.
We stayed in an otherwise lovely 4-star hotel in Dublin last winter, where the beds were so rock hard that we had problems getting any sleep. So I%26#39;m trying to do a little research on the bed issue before booking this time. :-)

the chain hotels like the marriott, intercontinental, radisson, renaissance should give you soft beds with real mattresses.
with most of the local hotels, you will probably be sleeping on foam (but often these are quite soft)

We stayed at the Atos Hotel and did comment on how comfy the beds were...did not look to see if they were pillowtop but I don%26#39;t think they were foam either...felt very rested every morning.

The beds in the Grand Hotel Praha right on Old Town Square were heavenly...the hotel itself is absolute perfection.

Ventana. has the most wonderful beds. Located in Old Town Square. Room 25 or 26 has a balcony and incredible view of old town each window too.
