Hi,
I bought some painted easter eggs at the Easter Market in Prague a couple of years ago - half of them broke due to poor handling on my part.
I was wondering if anyone would know where I might be able to find them? My family members have looked for me in the Christmas Market but hasn%26#39;t been able to find them.
Are there any stores that would carry them?
Thank you!

if you are after real eggs that have been painted, you need to wait for the spring

I saw lots of coloured eggs at the markets yesterday but I dont know if they are real or not .

TORRI,
Were these eggs hand-painted? Which square were you at? The Old Town one?
Thanks much in advance.

We bought hand painted eggs at a stall in Old Town square...you can%26#39;t miss it. Also there are several great stores....oh geez I forgot the name... but they have branches everywhere where we also got eggs and they even provide egg cartons to put them in..This was about a month ago...they were 73 crowns each. I bought 12 and they all made it back to the US. The eggs at the stalls were about 25 percent cheaper.

I found the name of the shop....Manufaktura...there is a big one close to the Charles Bridge...but you will see small ones all over townb...nice quality items...all made in the Czech Republic.

I bought some at the Christmas market in Old Town Square, 6 in a box that travelled OK. They also had them at the airport souvenir shop, which they put into egg cartons for safe travel.
